Her sire, SS Breaking Point, was 2007 Three-Year-Old Male of the Year after winning both the $6mil purse Dubai World Cup and the $5mil purse Breeders' Cup Classic, and this girl is certain to run the distance. Grand-sire, Rendezvous, also known as "The Duke," was born in 1993, and currently competes at the Olympic level in Eventing homed at Diabolique Stud Farms in Horses Forever. Prior to Ravette's ownership at the end of 2008, all of The Duke's offspring were GI winners - which can not be said of many sires. The truth now is unknown. Holy Macaroni came to TME when Hannah of Greenlight, Inc. allowed The Matuchie Estate to merge. This merge can be read about on TME's home website. We don't have updates on her two eldest foals, but her 2008 and 2009 foals will be on the track when time allows. Origionally, she was brought into Greenlight for some 'much needed Holy Bull blood' according to Hannah. In All-SIM she won won the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies and later went on to win the Grade I Apple Blossom Handicap. We are hoping that her audacity, need to succeed, and gratitude for life comes across in this beautiful filly as well! |
