Lost in Translation 2003 TB Chestnut Stallion Standing 17.0hh 705 ER Points, 114 TBHA Points, Winnings: $137,000
Lost in Translation is a beautiful and huge chestnut boy who absolutely loves competition. Initially created in Horses Forever SIMULATION game with owner, Nevena, upon our departure he was exported with us where he now absolutely adores the community of Equine Revolution.
Not much is known about his first foal, but he resides in HF, bred by Sunni. On the sire's line, from 8 Starts, Sharpen up won and placed 5 then 2 of them repsectively, however his sire, Native Dancer son Atan raced once, winning once, and was Sire in USA 1964-66 Sire in Ireland 1967-68 Sire in Japan 1969-86 up until he died. Sharpen Up's famous filly, Pebbles, was bred in Great Britain but was the first British-bred horse to win a Breeders' Cup race. She won over 1 mil GBP, which is the equivilant to over $2mil USD and was US Champion Female Turf Horse in 1985. Lost in Translations' dam, Ruby Two Shoes, didn't do much in the way of the track, winning once, but her sire Tour D'or has something to speak of! From 47 starts, he placed in the top three 29 times, winning 19 of those. He sold for $200,000 in the Keeland July sales of 1983, and was known for siring sound runners as well as grade one winners. Additionally, his Secretariat bred Canadian sire, Medaille D'or, won many stakes and in 1978 was the Canadian Champion two-year-old horse.
