 | Shocker 2009 TB Bay Filly Standing 16.2 hh 8 TBHA Points, 95 HF Points Shocker TME decends from lines of sheer beauty and finess. Sire AA Shadow of Greatness stands at The Matuchie Estate as a Fourth Level District Stallion of the TBHA. Once considered a retired eventer, he has returned to the show ring hopefully to return to his Preliminary Eventing with hopes of reaching his HOF Title in HF and possibly a Thoroughbred of Fame title within the TBHA. Deo's eldest foal, Babbo's Perfetto Ombra TME, a 2005 Grey Filly out of Alydar's Isis AHA, placed in the 2007 GIII Kentucky Breeders' Cup Stakes followed by a win in the GIII $100,000 Purse Betwitched Filly Stakes. She was also 2007 Qualified for the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies Division. Shadow's second eldest foal, Ceallach TME, a 2006 Grey Colt out of Our Final Zip, broke his maiden first time out in a 4f race in March. Hopefully, Shocker can follow his sibling's footsteps as he'll enter the track come 2011. Dam, Afternoon Delight, has foaled out winner after winner, in both the hearts and purses of fans and owners. Shocker's half sister, by Maria's Mon, Angelology TME has become a staple broodmare of The Matuchie Estate, just as Afternoon Delight, and will carry on Delight's success after her mother moves on. Delight's second oldest, 1999 Simple Delight is working on success in the SCA Circuit within HF. Tully Bebhinn TME won his Maiden in July, 2008. Shocker has a far way to go in HF to prove that she has all that her siblings possess, all in heart, dicipline, and courage, but we're willing to go the distance with her and give her all we have - because she's worth it to all of us. |
