[glow=red,2,300]IronHills Krazy Rockett ¡V[/glow] 2008 Male Argentino Dogo Multiple BIS DUAL CH Iron Hills Ziggyman x DUAL CH Snowy Mtn/Walden's Jasmine Rockett is the typical Dogo, fiercely loyal and incredibly affectionate to his family. He reminds the staff of TME of the pitt we had to have put down two years ago due to cancer. In late 2008 (for TME's Secret Santa gift), Ravette found Rockett at a local shelter, turned in because he had grown out of that cuddly puppy stage into a very large dog. The owners left his papers, and after Ravette contacted his breeders, they allowed Ravette to send the dog to TME. We have since neutered him, as we, in no means, are planning on breeding him.

[glow=red,2,300]Jimmy Crack Corn[/glow] 2007 Male German Shorthaired Pointer of Unknown pedigree This slightly nervous GSP was at the same shelter Ravette found Rockett at, only no one seemed to be certain of his history. This beautiful boy was huddled in the back of his cage with no interest in what was going on, nor Ravette. Ravette spoke with one of the employees, and learned the Animal Control brought him in that day from a likely abusive situation. This beautiful baby boy was nameless, and Ravette couldn't help but want him. She knew TME had been looking for a German Shorthaired Pointer for a while, and thought it'd be a perfect secret santa. We couldn't be more happy. Even with the few days this boy has been here, we could not be more excited with his progress. Rockett is really teaching him how to become an amazing dog, and he is scheduled to be neutered the first week of January 2009.

[glow=red,2,300]Relampago[/glow] Relampago's mom was struck by a car, and was left on the side of the street for dead. My husband, driving by, saw Relampago curled up beside his dead mommy's body, and brought him home immediately. After contacting several rehabbers that refused him, we learned that one of our barn staff had the license required for the rehabitation. Now, Relampago comes and goes from the barn and the house whenever he wants. He's not caged in, and loves the company of the horses. Every morning he scampers out into the pastures but thus far has always returned by noon. In deer season, we tie a bandana around his neck so hunters won't shoot, and thus far, he's always returned "home" safely.
