She just didn't seem to have the desire to run the shorter distances less than a mile, yet not the audacity to run with the big kids in TC and Triple Tiera races. We know she is capable of top performance as she has already shown us, and she is one TOP NOTCH horse. We hope Kalama eventually becomes a National Fence horse, I'm guessing as a specific distance exactly 2miler, but we aren't sure quite yet. We are currently looking at making her 4 year old season one of entire novice national fence races. Following a lengthy chase career, we are confident that she has the ability to put out NICE foals as well. Thus, she will NEVER be without purpose.
