On his dam's side, Adrenalynn has proven herself in the high leveled dressage ring. Really Rugged, Turkancer's full brother, sired three winners as well as Champion and 2001 Horse of the Year in Ohio, Turkowar. Turbulence's half siblings of Turbulence T include both DHR Cobalt, by Seattle Blues, and Cobalt's full sister, PLF Satellite also owned by Allison, who are homed in Horses Forever. Retired racer DHR Cobalt, once owned by Greenlight Inc., now competes in Baby Green Hunters. Cobalt's GIII full sister, and Turbulence's half sister, competes in Training Level eventing. Turbulence T overcame obstacles and reached a new plateau in 2008. We fought concern when he finished sixth in the Swale's Stakes in early 2008. That morning he was listless, but not powerless. The the Coolmore Stakes ran better for him, as he ran with the power of the 2007 Hopeful, and he qualified for the 2008 Kentucky Derby! He likes to sit back in the pack and he runs to make his move in the last turn. Belmont day was muddy and slow, and Turbulence stumbled to his knees coming out of the gate. With maintained composure, he moved in with one hundred yards remaining. Plan to see him at Trevers and then the Breeders later in 2008. 2009 hopes to see an amazing Dubai Weekend, July Cup Race meet, and one final Breeders before retiring to stud to promote his amazing dam and far from mediocre sire.
